| VALAK is a 40kg, heavily pigmented bi-coloured male. He possesses excellent bone and head strength. Conformationally correct, he is powerful in movement – as critiqued recently by New Zealand Judge Mr Tony Gibson, who awarded VALAK an Excellent (V) Grading at show, and he has been classified at Breed Survey.
VALAK is a fast, powerful, and active dog. He has very high ball drive, food drive, and sheds pressure easily. He has a great work ethic with a high willingness to please. His obedience is expressive, fast, and powerful throughout every exercise. He puts his all into every exercise and seeks to be correct.
VALAK approaches tracking with equal enthusiasm as his obedience and protection work. With a high aptitude for tracking, his tracking is very concentrated, and he maintains focus under high level distractions.
VALAK’s protection is also active, fast, and powerful. His guarding is strong and intense with active aggression and dominance towards the helper. He is a clear dog and possesses genetically full, calm, and very hard grips with a great balance of prey and aggression.
Importantly, VALAK is a very socially and environmentally stable male, who is easy to live with – a clean and quiet dog around the home, he gets along with all dogs in the kennel and is a great family dog, especially with our children. VALAK possesses excellent neutrality when not at work.
Looking at VALAK’s pedigree, it is easy to see where his power, speed, drive, and expression are drawn. We are pleased to have the opportunity to combine such a genetically proven, powerful lineage into our kennel, through VALAK.
A son of the 2019 IGP Vice World Champion, 3 x WUSV IGP World Championships and FCI World Championships participant Bordy Blendy – who is internationally renowned as “The Game Changer”, after cementing his place in history with his powerful and highly dominating protection phase work of the Helpers at the 2017 WUSV in Tilburg. Bordy Blendy is recognised, the world over, as being an absolute powerhouse of a dog.
We imported VALAK’s dam, Chia Vikar, from Czechia, whose sire – VALAK’s grandsire - is the highly successful German stud dog, Dinoso vom Eisernen Kreuz. Dinoso, is from the highly successful breeding combination of Quardes von der Staatsmacht and Yucca von der Mohnweise – producing the highly accomplished, ‘D’ and ‘E’ vom Eisernen Kreuz litters. Dinoso along with his full siblings Dexter, Dina and Debby have all competed at the highest level of IPO/IGP competitions (WUSV, BSP). Dinoso’s full sister Debby, stamped her mark in IGP history by becoming the first female to win at the IPO WUSV Championship in Tilburg, 2017. With Dinoso as his grandsire – there is little needing to be said about the world class genetics behind him: Quardes von der Staatsmacht, Agent vom Wolfsheim, Justin vom Pendel Bach – who all competed at the highest levels of IPO/IGP – between them, multiple appearances at the BSP and WUSV World Championships. Chia’s grandsire, through her mother Satoris Puma, is the great Bolle Ja Na Ka, who is the 2 x BSP Champion and 2 x WUSV participant.
VALAK was one of three in a litter. His brother, VONDARCOR V TATSU IGP3, was exported to Japan. TATSU qualified to represent Japan at the 2024 and and 2025 WUSV IGP World Championships. Their one and only sister, VONDARCOR VENOM, was retained by us here at VONDARCOR where she has successfully produced a small litter to imported frozen semen, all of her pups are operational Police Dogs.
VALAK, at his young age, is a proven producer of healthy working dogs. His progeny, so far have successfully been certified operational Police Dogs with QLD Police Dog Squad - one of which, PD ASTRO, has himself sired 3 litters within the QLD Police breeding program recently, all males under development currently within the QLD Police Dog Squad training program. VALAK has further progeny under development with NSW Police Dog Squad and certified operational Corrective Services Dogs in QLD. VALAK has multiple progeny starting to obtain their sports titles in IGP, achieving show gradings and classifications in Breed Surveys around the country.
VALAK is listed on the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia HD/ED Scheme statistic list for all sires in Australia - being one of only two working-line with sufficient progeny put through the scheme. Additionally, he falls within the Excellent elbows producer category, with 100% of his progeny achieving 0:0/Clear/Normal elbow results.
